As part of the training program offered by the Center for Continuing Education for newly appointed employees, a workshop titled “Academic Planning and Curriculum Design” was held to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills related to academic planning and curriculum development based on recognized scientific standards.
📅 The workshop took place on Monday, September 15, 2025,
and was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhekra Sabbar Dhahi, Director of the Department of Studies and Planning.
During the session, she discussed mechanisms for developing academic plans, the importance of aligning courses with learning outcomes, and the role of modern curricula in enhancing the quality of education and keeping pace with global developments in higher education.
This workshop is part of a series of continuous training programs organized by the Center to build the capacities of newly appointed staff and strengthen their competencies in line with the academic and administrative requirements of the university.
